Service Teams

Greeters

The Greeters Ministry provides a warm welcome to all members and visitors before each worship service and WMTLC  events.  Greeters are stationed at Sanctuary entrances to offer smiles, handshakes/hugs, and general assistance.

Helping Hands Ministry

The Helping Hands Ministry provides volunteer support in several areas including: special events, communion preparation, venue set-up for worship services, assistance to members and guests.

​

Information Center Ministry

The Information Center Ministry provides assistance and information to worshippers before and after services.  Information Center Volunteers are stationed at Sanctuary entrances to answer questions, to give directions, and to distribute designated materials.

Prayer Partners

The Prayer Partners Ministry prays for the needs of the people during the worship services.  Prayer Partners are called upon during worship services to pray one-on-one with individuals and families.

Ushers

The Ushers Ministry is responsible for helping to provide a welcoming and orderly environment during the worship services.  Ushers assist with seating, receiving, offerings, serving Communion, and responding to emergencies.

Technical

The audio/video  technical team works closely with the Worship Team to set up, sound check and take down the sound system each Sunday. They are  responsible for managing service devices, mixer and sound board to ensure that Worship and sermon runs smoothly. They manage the presentation for worship, announcements and sermon slides.

Hospitality

The hospitality team is responsible for arranging and serving refreshments to the community after the service.

Service Teams are a vital part of making Sunday gatherings a success. We have many passionate volunteers dedicating their time, talents and lives in consistent service. Creative, technical and interpersonal skills are all integral to a smooth Sunday Service. Our service teams keep the Church running behind-the-scenes, and on any given Sunday.

Joining a service team is a great way to get involved and serve at Witness Ministries Church. We want to give you the opportunity to put your gifts and talents to good use. We have various teams with which you can get involved. We ask that you commit to serving two Sundays a month if possible, however time commitment for each team will vary. If you would like to join a service team, contact a leader and let them know where you think you might fit. We’d also be happy to chat with you about different needs at WMTLC, your individual gifts, passions and talents and explore how you could serve at WMTLC.
